At my last card class we made a collection of cards using the Magnolia Lane Memories and More Card Pack, paired with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set, the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper, the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, and the Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder.
We mixed and matched this coordinating suite of products with other products and everyone loved the results. Such pretty cards. The Memories and More Card Pack has printed vellum and sticker sheets, as well as 50 double sided cards with Images and Words – the cards come together so easily.
I will be holding my next card class on 11 February and we will be creating cards with some of the Sale-A-Bration products you can get FREE with qualifying purchases during this promotion.
Give me a call or send me an email if you would like to join us for a fun morning.
All the supplies used in the Magnolia Lane Suite cards can be ordered through my online store here.

Earlier this month I held an open house event in my home to launch the Stampin’ Up! January – June (J J) Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I prepared lots of samples using some of the new products and we had Make N Takes, Prizes, Nibbles, Bubbles and everyone got to take home a copy of the Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
We had lots of fun and I wanted to share some of the projects from that day. It was a small group, maybe something to do with the fact that it was 42 degrees, although the aircon did a great job of keeping us cool.
I think this card is just gorgeous. I particularly love the combination of the petal pink with the champagne foil, ribbon and champagne rhinestones.
Suppliesused:
Stamps: –Forever Blossoms (151457- p16 of the J-J Mini Catalogue ) Beautiful Day (151257- p131 Annual Catalogue)
Tools: –Stitched Stars Dies carried over from 2019 Holiday Mini Catalogue), Stitched Rectangles Dies
Embellishments: – Silver Thread.
I hope you like the cards I have shared. I would love to hear what you think.

I hope you are enjoying this month’s Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator’s Blog Hop featuring Sale-A-Bration projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. You may have arrived from Maureen Rauchfuss’s blog. She had a fabulous project!
I wanted to use The Gang’s All Meer stamp set because it’s SO cute. And I love the Stone Embossing Folder! When my friend and downline, Vicki, opened her Demonstrator pre-order, I was with her and she pulled out this folder and said “What is this? I didn’t order this!” So we searched the documentation and found that it came as a Sale-A-Bration freebie, bundled with the Power of Hope Stamp Set. Then we both decided that we loved it and had to use it on everything.
I was really happy with this card. Bermuda Bay is one of my favourite colours and I think it looks great with the Stone Texture. The DSP ties all the colours together and the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies are a whole new level of sweet, with the petite scalloped edge as well as the stitching.
Suppliesused:
Stamps: – The Gang’s All Meer (free during Sale-A-Bration when you spend AU$90)
Card: – Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper (January-June Mini Catalogue)
Ink : – Memento Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Night of Navy Watercolour Pencils.
Tools: – Stone 3D Embossing Folder (free, as part of the Power of Hope Bundle during Sale-A-Bration, when you spend A$180), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (January-June Mini Catalogue), Blender Pen
Embellishments: – Sequins

I wanted to share how I spent Christmas here in Australia.
We spent Christmas with our 2 adult children at the south coast of NSW. It is a spot I have been visiting since before I could walk and where I have spent most of my Christmases. It is also where my parents lived before they died.
As you probably know, fires affected a large part of this area and while we were there we were inconvenienced in several ways, particularly by being separated when the highway was closed. But we were not directly impacted by the fires and we left before new year. Unfortunately, the smoke from the fires followed us but we are thankful to be safe and still have our home.
I wanted to share this photo because I thought it might appeal, particularly to those in the northern hemisphere. This was a traditional way the fire service raised funds for many years but as far as I know it had not been done for quite a while. On this trip, the fire truck was welcomed by everyone and it was an emotional opportunity to thank the brave fire fighters for keeping us safe. Santa had a good supply of lollies (candy) which he threw at the kids. So everyone lined the streets to say thanks and donate; I think it is so uniquely Australian!
Also Santa must have been quite hot in his suit in the very hot conditions.
I hope you appreciate this non-crafting post.
Bye for now……………………………………………………………………………………..til next time,
Netty xx
