Welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to share a swap card that was created by my friend and downline Vicki for our Netty’s Inkers downline meeting last week. We had to hold the meeting by videoconferencing using Zoom. This was new technology to us all but we managed it and had fun working out how to use it.
The card uses two 2nd Release Sale-A-Bration freebies and is just gorgeous. Don’t you agree? That little birdie is so cute!
It is a Fancy Fold called a Wiper Card. If you like the card, stay tuned, I plan on doing a tutorial on how to make it in the near future.

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring a Happy Birthday theme. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from Anastasia Radloff’s fabulous blog. Either way, you’re in the right place.
I was inspired to create my card when I saw this card by Artisan design Team Member, Stesha Bloodhart. I just loved the white splattered look, with the vellum and sparkles, so I set about making it my own, using different colours and introducing a different fold – a Corner Tuck Fold card. I also used the beautiful Champagne Rhinestones which look lovely with the Petal Pink.
A closer look.
This pic shows the corner untucked.

I made this card for my son who has a birthday today and is an avid snowboarder. I didn’t have a stamp for a snowboarder so I printed this silhouette image from pinterest, mounted it onto card, rubbed it over with black ink and cut it out. The layout was created using quite an old tutorial by Michelle Zindorf here. I was quite happy with the result and I hope he is too.
Embellishments: – Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, Fine Tip Glue, Ice Stampin Glitter, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
I hope you like my card. I would love to hear what you think.
