Last weekend, I held a launch event in my home to showcase some of the lovely new products available this month in these publications.
Despite temperatures which were close to 40 deg C, all the ladies who came enjoyed the afternoon. We had a guided tour of the publications, displays of new products and projects made with them, bubbles, nibbles, make & takes, door prizes. We are fortunate in Canberra to have had no locally acquired cases of COVID 19 for quite a few months now, so we all enjoyed the company and had lots of fun.
I wanted to share pics of the projects available to create as make & takes.
The first was this card:

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring new products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and the 2021 Sale-A-Bration products. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
I wanted to use the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set. I also wanted to use the new Blending Brushes. I decided to use sunset type colours and convert the images to silhouettes by colouring them in black. The fact that one donkey had a rose gave me the idea of Valentines Day, so I hand drew the hearts and the ground and grass. Then I went looking for a suitable greeting. I found It in the Geared Up Garage Set. In Australia, many people don’t celebrate Valentines Day and, if they do, its only by couples. My hubbie and I don’t do mushy Valentines but we do mark the occasion, so I felt that this card was perfect. What do you think?
