I received this lovely card from a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friend, Tracy Held, who I have done a lot of work with, but not met in person.
My husband has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in the last 6 months and Tracy is aware of this, and our struggles. She sent me this beautiful card back in May and I was so happy to receive it. We can underestimate the effect of a heartfelt handmade card.
Thanks so much Tracy!
Tracy used the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle to make this lovely card. Colours are Petal Pink, Basic White and Silver foil. The greeting comes from the Comfort and Hope Stamp Set which is retiring. She also added some cute glittery gemstones which I can’t identify.
Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Happy Birthday. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Sue Boerner’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
I decided to use the pretty Pansy Petals DSP because I wanted to create a pretty birthday card and I also wanted to use one or more of the 2021-23 In Colors which are featured in this paper. As I don’t yet have the Pansy Patch stamp set/dies bundle I decided to cut out one of the floral images in the paper to use for the focal image. I was really happy with how this turned out.
I decorated the inside with more of the DSP and another fussy cut flower. I gave both flowers a good hit of Wink of Stella, so they are very shimmery in real life, but couldn’t capture this in the pics.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: – Peaceful Moments
Inks: – Memento Black, Wink of Stella, Black Marker
The Hand Penned DSP is on sale for the rest of July. Seethis post for more details.

The 2021-22 Annual Catalogue is full of awesome NEW paper crafting products. I have joined with a global group of demonstrators to offer an amazing Suite of the Month program using products from this catalogue. If you don’t yet have a copy of this catalogue, contact me and I will arrange for you to get one.
The Suite of the Month initiative has been running for some time but I am new to it.
One product suite will be highlighted each month. I hope these suites are on your wish lists because you will earn a free make and take kit when you order the designated suite. My Youtube assembly video link will be emailed to you so that you can assemble your kit at your leisure.
In addition, I am collaborating with other demonstrators who will be sharing 2 projects each using the same product suite. We are anticipating that there will be at least 5 demonstrators participating each month so that you will get a minimum of 10 different ideas to use with the rest of your product suite by watching these videos. Although you will only get the kit for my mak make ‘n takes, you will be able to make all the other projects because you have purchased the suite! Much as we would like to buy everything in the catalogue, we also have to choose which are our favourite favourites, so the demonstrators can vary from month to month.
Please order early in the month if you want to participate in the Zoom socials since the socials will be held on the third Wednesday of the month.
I will need some time to prepare your kit and post it to you. When I see an order come through with the designated Suite of the Month, I’ll send off your make and take kit to you that month.
You are welcome to order any other products on the same order so that you can earn and spend host rewards host rewards but if your order is under $250 (excluding shipping) please use the host code for that month shown in the sidebar this blog when ordering.
Here are the Suites being featured each month. Links to my online store to order these products are embedded. The page numbers refer to the 2021-22 annual catalogue unless stated otherwise.
June 2021 – Simply Elegant pp68-69, an elegant suite with beautiful DSP.
July 2021 – Hand Penned Suite pp104-5, a whimsical collection in soft, pretty colours.
August 2021 – Beauty of the Earth pp 10-11, different tree images with vibrant, earthy colours.
I have just completed my projects for the June Suite of the Month. Tutorials will be available from 16 June. I look forward to sharing my projects with you.
