Card Swap Chain Blog Hop – Annette

CardSwapChainHeader

Welcome to the 8th round of the second series of Card Chain Swaps. At the beginning of April, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Card Swap Chain”. Each of us designed a card and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) the card and sent their version on to the next person (Round 1). The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card swap chains to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

The eighth chain to be featured was created by ME. You can see it below.

Stamps: – Flowers of Beauty Stamp Set, Unbounded Love Stamp Set

Inks: – Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop,

Card: – Pretty In Pink, Berry Burst, Whisper White Unbounded Beauty DSP

Tools: –  Spotlight on Nature Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies

Embellishments: – Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon

Above is the card that came back to me from Cheryl after everyone in the chain had sequentially CASE-d it. It has some similarities, which is quite remarkable really! The fold of the card (I have recently heard it called a back fold) remains. A rectangle replaces the circle in my original. All in all, a recognisable CASE of my original card!

I hope you are inspired by my card and all those in the chain (all beautiful). I’d love to know what you think. Make sure you hop all the way around and see the inspiration that everyone has shared, and don’t forget to leave a comment. We all love to get comments on our projects.

Thanks for hopping by, Till next time

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – September 2024 – September – December Catalogue

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme September to December Catalogue.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

For me, the main focus of the mini is Christmas. I chose to use Festive Words Stamp Set because I think it is a fun, versatile set. I stamped and coloured the holly sprig from the hat image to add interest to the stocking. I hope this is a card which is suitable for mass production. What do you think?
