This card came together by itself really. I wanted to colour the image from the Lovely Lattice Stamp Set after it had been white embossed on Crumb Cake Cardstock. I was thinking of a technique where you colour white then add colour.
Then I saw a beautiful card by Emma Goddard, a British member of the 2018 Artisan Design Team. She white-embossed images from the All That You Are Stamp Set on Sahara Sand Card and coloured them with watercolour pencils. The result was vivid and beautiful. I have shared it on my business Facebook page with a link to her blog. There is a link to my page at the bottom of the sidebar at the right.
The colours I used are Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Rich Razzleberry. Flowers were stamped and coloured on a scrap, then fussy cut and 3D’d on another panel of Crumb Cake which had been stamped and white embossed with the same image. I added a White Glossy card mat to tie in with the Embossing and a few pearls and decided not to add a greeting.
I was really happy with how the card turned out. I’d love to know what you think.
Thanks for popping by. Actually I’m on holiday at the moment but I scheduled this post to appear in my absence!
This card is one that was TOTALLY my own idea, which is unusual really. Usually I build on the ideas of others or just copy them. Why reinvent the wheel? So, I think I’ve done good, don’t you? I’m pleased with myself, anyway.
I used the luscious Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets (FREE During SALEABRATION) and cut a frame using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. The I added texture using the Lace Dynamic TIEF. The stamped images are from a hostess set in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue called Just Because, which I stamped on Sahara Sand card. I stamped the plant pot onto the Foil using Stazon ink and fussy cut it and the flowers. The images were coloured using the watercolor pencils. The flowers and the Foil Frame were 3D’d using dimensionals.
I love the way the foil changes colour with the light, especially the plant pot.
I hope you liked my card. I would love to hear what you think. If you live in Australia and don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out my blog.
Today’s card uses the exquisite new Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder. The embossed panel of Highland Heather was sponged with Whisper White ink. A length of Highland Heather Organdy ribbon was added along with some silver thread and butterflies which were punched from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Paper (FREE with AUS$90 purchase during SALEABRATION) with the Butterfly Duet punch.
The greeting is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and was stamped with Versamark and white embossed on vellum. It was cut with a Layering Circle Framelit.
The card was inspired by the lovely Balmy Blue one on the cover of the 2019 SALEABRATION Brochure.
Wecome back to my blog and thanks for dropping by.
I held my Open House to launch the 2019 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogues on 12 January. I had six ladies attend and I think they enjoyed themselves. It was a welcome distraction from the 36deg heat outside. We had a game, a tour of the new catalogues, food and bubbles and make n takes, display boards and I hope some fun. There was lots of laughter anyway.
Above are some of the products I used to create the card. If you live in Australia and don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator. If you click on the product code above you will go straight to my 24/7 secure online store and add it to your cart. And remember to use the January host code to go in to my monthly draw.
Also, Sale-A-Bration is the best time to join the Stampin’ Up! family. There is an additional $80 worth of products you can choose for your kit and an optional extra Craft and Carry Tote at less that half the retail value. See details in the image below. Hello, welcome once again. I created this set of notecards as a prize for my launch tomorrow. Aren’t they cute? They came together quite quickly as I used the colours in the FREE SaleABration DSP, which happens to have the same colours as the Organdy Ribbon combo Pack, also a FREE SAB item.
This sort of co-ordination is where Stampin’ Up! really shines. I hope whoever wins them likes them as much as I do.
Welcome back and thanks for visiting my blog. I have been busy playing with new goodies I got in my demonstrator preorder during December. This lovely stamp set is available to select as a free gift when you make a purchase of $90 or more during SaleABration. I love to watercolour/colour-in and this set is perfect for it.
The card is a copy of a one featured in the 2019 SaleABration Brochure. I think I did an excellent job of copying it! What do you think? You don’t have to be artistic or creative to make beautiful cards. Our beautiful stamps and other products make it a breeze.

I nearly forgot to mention the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. They are a new product in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue and you are going to love them. Most of them nest which makes them perfect for making layers for your card fronts and each framelit is stitched on both sides. If you look closely at the photo, you will see that the image panel was cut from the frame panel, and both have a stitched edge. The frame was lifted on dimensionals. A great look, and so easy to achieve with these framelits.
