Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop, featuring the theme Thinking of You Girls. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
I decided to use the Quite Curvy Bundle with the Dragonfly stamp from the Suite Sampler Hostess Stamp Set. Both are in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. I just love this bundle and I’ve become a bit obsessed by the Blends/Isopropanol Background technique with Vellum. I think the combination work well for a Thinking of You card, although these colours would suit a girl or a bloke.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: – Quite Curvy, Suite Sampler
Ink : – Night of Navy Blend, Daffodil Delight Blend, Versamark inkpad
Card: – Basic White (thin), Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Vellum.
Tools: – Curvy Dies, Scissors
Embellishments: – Silver Embossing Powder
I hope you like my card. Thanks for joining us for our Blog Hop.

I wanted to use the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set. I also wanted to use the new Blending Brushes. I decided to use sunset type colours and convert the images to silhouettes by colouring them in black. The fact that one donkey had a rose gave me the idea of Valentines Day, so I hand drew the hearts and the ground and grass. Then I went looking for a suitable greeting. I found It in the Geared Up Garage Set. In Australia, many people don’t celebrate Valentines Day and, if they do, its only by couples. My hubbie and I don’t do mushy Valentines but we do mark the occasion, so I felt that this card was perfect. What do you think?

Welcome to the First Global SU Share Fair Blog Hop.
We have an awesome group of demonstrators sharing their talents in our private Facebook group called the Global SU Share Fair. We broadcast about every other month with videos available on replay if you miss the live days. There are close to 60 demonstration videos available on replay with the next live day on October 17th. Save the date!
Today we are CASEing the May Share Fair projects. I decided to CASE Sandra Roberts’s Flip Flap card that is the third in the pdf tutorial. Here is her card.
I chose to use products from the Most Wonderful Time Medley because I just purchased it to prepare for my next class. Also, I just love the red paper, even though it was a tough decision because the other side has gold foil.
I have rotated my card compared to Sandra’s one, mainly because I wanted to use the greeting from the In The Woods stamp set. The pine cones came from the same set and the bits of Spruce foliage came from the coordinating Dies set and used to be a tree skeleton before I chopped it up. You can just see the Shimmer Paint I applied to these elements.
The other elements on the middle and bottom layers are all from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley, except for the punched label layers with the Deck the Halls greeting.
I really enjoyed making this little note card. I couldn’t stop decorating, but I was happy with the end result. The fun fold element is simple but looks great. Thanks Sandra!

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring punches in the 2020 Annual and the Holiday Catalogues. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Maureen Rauchfuss’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
I wasn’t sure how to approach this hop. But I thought about up and coming events and I realised that I needed a gift for my lovely hubbie for our anniversary, not of our wedding, but of our first date. I thought he needed a gift- so I decided on a gift box and I was inspired by Heidi at Flutterby – I haven’t decided what the gift will be, but I have the dimensions! One of my fav gifts for him is smoked salmon – simple, but a luxury that he loves. Now, to find some that will fit into this box!
How does this relate to punches you ask? The answer lies in the flap on the lid. I used the Fancy Label Tag Topper punch to create that flap. The punch made it so easy and looks attractive while being functional too.

When deciding what I would create for this blog hop, I started thinking about what makes a card masculine. I decided that it was the colours used, texture and metallics. Often, thinking of you cards are for a sad occasion, and flowers or butterflies come to mind, but not for a male. So, I was thinking, Lovely As A Tree stamp set….Oh no, it’s retired. So I was wondering what I had that was similar and I thought of the Winter Woods stamp set. I’ve seen lots of lovely Christmas cards made with these “wintery trees”. My thoughts then went to neutral colours, texture and metallics, and this card was born.
I hope my card inspires you. I have listed all supplies below. Please add a comment and let me know what you liked about it before clicking the next image to hop to Shirley Merker’s blog in the United States to see what fun ideas she has to share.

I was inspired to make this card when I was perusing Pinterest. I found a number of cards that had blurry, bright watercoloured backgrounds, combined with bold metallic embossing. While my card is a tad different, I was really pleased with how rich the delicate lines of the stamped images look when heat embossed in gold, especially with the yummy orangey-yellow-pink watercolouring. I am not normally really taken with orangey tones but found this combination, which I stole from the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper, to be very pleasing.
Supplies used:
Stamps: –Inspiring Iris, Beautiful Moments
Card: –Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Gold Foil
Ink : – Versamark, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight Grapefruit Grove, Granny Apple Green
