Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is Distressing Techniques, which was created by Monique Fielder and is shown below:
I decided to use the Gallery Blooms Bundle. I distressed the edges of the card using the outside edge of my paper snips, also folding down corners of card, and used a sponge dauber to apply Basic White or Crumb Cake ink to the distressed edges and damask impressions.
Supplies
Stamps: – Simply Said Stamp Set, Gallery Blooms Stamp Set*
Inks: – Basic White, Versamark, Crumb Cake
Card: – Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Beautiful
Gallery DSP
Tools: – Gallery Blooms Dies* Paper Snips, Sponge Daubers, Damask Embossing Folder
Embellishments: Metallics WOW!’ Emboss Powder
