Welcome to this month’s Blog Hop by Let’s Craft Together and thank you for joining us. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting.

Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a Monochrome Challenge which was created by Julia Quinn and is shown below:

When i saw the green challenge pic, I knew that it has been designed by Julia. Did you know that it is her favourite colour? I love green too, but decided to use blues. I started with the Night of Navy card base. I inked up the male side of the embossing folder with a white ink pad, then ran it through the Stamp n Emboss. This gave the card base a lovely “wallpaper” look. I used the Gallery Blooms Dies to cut the frame from Balmy Blue and stamped over it with one of the fine stamps from the Gallery Blooms stamp set, using Balmy Blue ink. I used a single stamp repeatedly in a rough diagonal line on the Basic White panel, then selectively coloured with Night of Navy ink using the Water Painters (I am glad they are available again!). I think you can figure out the rest from the supplies list! I had fun making this card.
