Welcome to the 6th round of the second series of Card Chain Swaps. At the beginning of April, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Card Swap Chain”. Each of us designed a card and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything) the card and sent their version on to the next person (Round 1). The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card swap chains to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.
The first chain to be featured was created by Sharni. You can see it below. The card on the right was sent to me by Ros.
Here is my take on the card I received from Ros. My card is number 3 in the chain. The hop should be in the order the cards evolved so that you can watch the changes. Quite fascinating!
I had lots of fun making this card. I love these birds and I also love messy, bright techniques.
Tools: – Stylish Shapes Dies, Blending Brushes, Water Painter, Paper Snips
I hope you are inspired by my card. I’d love to know what you think. Make sure you hop all the way around and see the inspiration that everyone has shared, and don’t forget to leave a comment. We all love to get comments on our projects.
Thanks for hopping by, Till next time

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme September to December Catalogue. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
For me, the main focus of the mini is Christmas. I chose to use Festive Words Stamp Set because I think it is a fun, versatile set. I stamped and coloured the holly sprig from the hat image to add interest to the stocking. I hope this is a card which is suitable for mass production. What do you think?

If you like to create fun fold cards, you might be interested in obtaining this tutorial. It gives detailed instructions on how to make a Triple Diamond Gate Fold Card (a really impressive fold!) and includes a list of products used to make each of the sample cards shown in the sneak peek above. To receive the tutorial, simply place an order in my online Stampin’ Up! store here of a minimum of $50 of product and I will email the tutorial to you.
The projects are created by an international group of SU demonstrators who collaborate to create a new tutorial each month.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for stopping by.
