Artistry Blooms Gift Card Holder

Welcome back to my little part of the blog world.

If you follow my blog, you know that I am one of the presenters in a Global Facebook Live event every month or so, the Global SU Share Fair. This month, one of the presenters from the US, Katie Johnson, presented a tutorial on how to create this gift card holder. These are so useful to have on hand, particularly around Christmas time, so I decided to make one myself.

These are the supplies I used:

  • Stamps:- Gift Wrapped
  • Card: –Whisper White (thick and thin), Basic Black, Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper
  • Ink:- Memento Black, Poppy Parade and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, Wink of Stella
  • Tools:– Gift Bow Punch, Layering Circles Dies,
  • Other: –Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If you live in Australia and don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would be delighted to assist you. Click “Contact Me” at the top of this page or click here to get the conversation started. If you’d like to recreate the project, all current products are available from my online store here or email me. The Artistry Blooms DSP is on sale until the end of October. If you are placing an online order of less than $250, and you use the hostess code for this month, shown in the sidebar menu on the right, you will receive a small gift from me. If your order is more than $250 you should not use the code as you will earn hostess rewards for yourself. If you would like to purchase Stampin’ Up! products at a discount and/or run your own business, read more about Joining HERE, and please contact me if you have any questions. I would love you to join us at Netty’s Inkers.

Gift Packaging Ideas

Welcome back to my blog. Today I’d like to share the swap projects members of my Netty’s Inkers Team created for our October get together. The theme was gift packaging and it’s amazing how different all the projects are.

ComingHomePillowBoxStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan22102020

This cute pillow box was created by Anne. She used the following supplies:

  • Card: Artistry Blooms DSP
  • Ink : –Merry Merlot
  • Tools: – Home Together Dies
  • Other: – ribbon and bell (retired)

This clever gift box was created by Karen. I’m not sure what it is called but when you gently pull on the lid it opens as per the pic on the right. The opening is bigger than it appears so you can fit most anything that will fit in the box through the opening.

List of supplies:

  • Card: – Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Snowflake Splendour Designer Series Paper,
  • Tools:-Simply Scored Scoring Tool,
  • Other: –Blue Adhesive Backed Gems
JingleBellsPillowBoxStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan22102020

This charming little pillow box was made by Vicki with all retired products. It is so sweet with the Jingle Bells Designer series Paper and the lovey Star of Bethlehem.

TreatBoxLanternStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan22102020

This sweet little lantern was made by a guest at our gathering, Frances, who is my Stampin’ Up! sister. We have been sisters for nearly 14 years. Stampin’ Up! is such a wonderful way to develop friendships. Isn’t this a gorgeous idea?

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps: – Today’s Tiles Stamp Set
  • Packaging –Clear Tiny Treat Box
  • Ink : – Jet Black Stazon
  • Other: – battery operated candle

These are the mini self-closing boxes I made for the swap. I was very happy with them. I made a bigger version a long time ago, but these littlies are so cute.

Supplies:

  • Card: –Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, Dazzling Diamonds & Silver Glimmer Paper (retired), Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper
  • Tools:– Fancy Phrases Tag Topper punch, Layering Circles Dies, Star of Bethlehem die (retired)

ForeverGreeneryGiftCardSetStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan21102020

I made this little set of Gift cards to show off one of the Fifteen Designer Series Papers which are on sale this month, Forever Greenery . See the downloadable pdf flyer for the sale by clicking here .

The cards are 3 inches square and fit perfectly into a cello bag which I have lined with more of the same paper and just punched a hole in the top.

  • Stamps:- Peaceful Moments, Totally Tulips
  • Card: –Whisper White (thick and thin), Old Olive, Pretty Peacock
  • Ink:- Old Olive, Pretty Peacock
  • Tools:– Stitched So Sweetly, Layering Circles Dies, Painted Labels Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Stitched Rectangles
  • Other: –Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love going ‘over the top’ with little cards like this and even though it looks like I used every Die Set and punch I own (I didn’t), they come together fairly quickly.

I hope you like them. I’m not sure who I’ll give them to yet!

If you would like to purchase the products to create these little cards, you will find them available in my online store here. I would appreciate you using the host code in the sidebar at right to get a small gift from me.
