Welcome back. Well the organisation for the Live Event on 25 April is progressing and I am getting excited, and a bit nervous about presenting.

Any of my customers who attend the Share Fair and place an order with me before 3 May will be eligible to earn the Share Fair Show Special:
So if you’d like to participate, contact me now for an invite (You must have a facebook account AND not be a SU Demonstrator or a customer of another Demonstrator). That will give you time to join the group and gather supplies beforehand so that you can craft along with the presenters throughout the day.

I chose the Peaceful Poppies Suite because the event is being held on ANZAC Day. For those who don’t know, the 25th of April 1915, was when Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. These became known as Anzacs and the pride they took in that name continues to this day. The symbol of the ANZACS is the Flanders Field Poppy. Australia normally celebrates Anzac day with a march, Poppies, sprigs of rosemary, games of two-up and baking and eating ANZAC biscuits (cookies) which were baked and shipped to our soldiers deployed overseas.
