Bird Banter Waterfall Card

BirdBanterWaterfallCard1StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan31032020

At our March Netty’s Inkers Meeting, I was asked to show my team how to make a Waterfall Card. I immediately thought of the Bird Banter set. I always loved this set and even though it has now retired, I love the humour in the images and the greetings.

I also knew that I needed to use bright colours, I think this combo fit the bill!

Avid Inkers get together

A little while back I met up with my Avid Inkers demonstrator group, and those of us who had attended Onstage in Auckland shared all our experiences and showed off our swaps and booty.  As usual we had fun together.

I led a project based on a fancy fold I hadn’t tried before called a Twist and Turn card.  I gave everyone a list of dimensions beforehand so they didn’t know what they would be making.  Here is a pic of what we all created.  Unfortunately, we hadn’t all quite finished.

I think we did pretty well, using a range of colours and productss. What do you think?

We did another project, led by the lovely Carolyn. She chose the new stamp set Daisy Lane using very soft colours and white embossing. Here are our samples.

Aren’t they gorgeous? Notice the new Grey Granite ribbon!

It’s nice to be back, sorry to be MIA again!

Thanks for stopping by………………………til next time,
