Welcome to this month’s Blog Hop by Let’s Craft Together and thank you for joining us. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting.
Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is a Water Colouring Challenge which was created by Julia Quinn and is shown below:
I chose to use the Lovely & Sweet Bundle because I thought it lent itself to watercolouring and I went for an emboss resist technique. I decided to use Wild Wheat for the fruit and the rest of the colour scheme came from that.
SUPPLIES
Stamps: – Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set* Notes of Nature Bundle (retiring soon)
Inks: – Versamark, Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie
Card: – Watercolour Paper, Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat, Basic White, Sweetly Stippled DSP (retired)
Tools: – Water Painters
Embellishments: Basic Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Natural Wavy Trim (retiring soon)
*The Lovely & Sweet stamp set and Dies are currently available as a bundle, with a discount of 10% (until 30 April 2024, when the January-April Mini comes to an end- they will be available in the 2024-24 Annual catalogue).
