Welcome Back, sorry I’ve been MIA

Where have I been you ask?  No where is the answer.  I have just been distracted by the myriad of things that make up everyday family life!

However, I had to get back into action to let you know that the sales period for the 2019-20 Annual Catalogue has begun.  I have put a link in the sidebar of my blog so that you can download a copy.  Of course, I also have hard copies available.  Just contact me if you would like to get one.

I also still have some photos of swaps from Onstage to share.   I couldn’t believe how great the swaps were or the hospitality of the NZ demonstrators.

BestCatchCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan07062019

This swap was created by one of my sideline friends in Canberra, Frances Searle. We traveled to Auckland together and shared a room.

The Best Catch stamp set and coordinating die set, Catch of the Day are still available in this year’s catalogue.

Frances used brushos for the colour and a window sheet stencil for the background. She stamped the fish onto Copper Foil using black Stazon. Isn’t it gorgeous?

The Tropical Chic Stamp Set and Tropical Dies were also popular choices for swaps. They are also carrying over in the new Annual Catalogue. As you can see, they are a very versatile set.

TropicaKiwiCard_StampinUp_AnnetteMcMillan_07062019

This little punch art Kiwi card is so cute. It was created by Bronwyn Franklin. She has worked wonders with the scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

TropicalTreatHolderStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan07062019

Queenslander Carolyn Willis created this sweet treat packaging. The belly band wraps around an acetate pillow box filled with yummy tropical treats.

TropicalChicCard2StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan07062019

Australian demonstrator Anna Wheaton created a truly stylish card combining black and Lovely Lipstick with Silver Foil, Sparkle Glimmer, vellum and rhinestones.

TropicalChicFrameCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan07062019

Australian Heather Massese used Press N Seal to create a gorgeous Floating Frame card. She has created a lovely outer frame by dry embossing a pair of the Stitched Rectangle Framelit Dies.

TropicalChicCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan07062019

This lovely treat package had a label, but no name. It was created with the Envelope Punch Board and used greetings from the Butterfly Gala Stamp set.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed seeing these lovely creations. Remember that you can purchase the products any time from my on-line store, using the link in the Shopping drop-down tab at the top of this page. I promise I won’t wait so long this time.

Thanks for dropping by…………………………..til next time,

More Swaps from 2019 Onstage Live Auckland

Welcome back to my blog!

I have some more swap creations to share and, again, they have been made with stamp sets which are due to retire to make room for all the lovely new stuff.

OneWildRideCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Theresa Griffith created this incredible Never Ending Card using the One Wild Ride and En route Stamp sets, both of which are retiring with the current Annual Catalogue. She also used the Tranquil Textures DSP.

IncredibleLikeYouCard1StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Emma Stark created this lovely card using a fresh palette and the Incredible Like You stamp set which is retiring from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I though this set might carry over as it co-ordinated with a Project Kit of the same name and is quite pretty and versatile.

AllTheGoodThingsBookmarkStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Jessie Holton, from Victoria, created this cute bookmark using the All the Good Things Stamp Set from the current Annual Catalogue.

I am very sad to see this stamp set retire as it is a DISTINKTIVE stamp set with some very handy greetings and great for a range of techniques, in fact I am holding a class using this stamp set on 30 April. Although the class is full at this stage, I might do a repeat class if I get enough interest. Contact me by email if you are interested in attending this class.

HummingAlongCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Australian Sarah Crittenden used the Humming Along bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue to create this cheerful card. The Subtle DTIEF and the shimmery white card make it even prettier.

OrigamiFrameSwapStampinupAnnetteMcMillan20042019

This clever 6″ X 6″ Origami Frame was created by New Zealander, Alicia Yap using retired DSP. She included instructions for making it.

ClimbingRosesCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Jenny Greig from St Clair, NSW created this sweet card using the Climbing Roses Stamp Set and co-ordinating Die Set from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.

IncredibleLikeYouStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Australian Astrid Bealing created this cute card using Hey Love and Incredible Like You Stamp Sets, both retiring from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.

ShareWhatYouLoveCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Roslyn Vest, from Coolac NSW, created this using the retiring Share What You Love DSP and mini Ruffled Ribbon. She has also used the yummy new Country Floral Embossing Folder.

DearDoilyCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Jenny Christmass, from Canberra, used the Dear Doily Stamp Set and coordinating Dies from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue to create this pretty card.

AmazingLifeCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Michelle Strazds, Mt Barker South Australia, used the Amazing Life and Butterfly Gala stamp sets from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. While the former is retiring, I am pleased that the butterflies are carrying over. She has used sponge daubers to create the stunning rainbow background.

ALittleWildBookmarkStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan21042019
ALittleWildBookmark1StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan21042019

Miranda Sleath of Brisbane, Queensland, has used the stamp set A Little Wild and co-ordinating dies from the current Annual Catalogue to create this cute little bookmark.

FloralFramesCard1StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Sayerah Deasey created this pretty card using the Floral Frames stamp set and coordinating Dies from the current Annual Catalogue. The Tin Tile Embossing Folder and Wink of Stella finish it off.

Rose Keightley created this lovely bright card using the Incredible Like You Stamp Set from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue .

So, as you can see, there are lots of lovely stamp sets retiring at the end of May. If you’d like to purchase any before they go, you can purchase them in my online shop by clicking here or contact me by clicking on the Contact Me button at the top of this page and follow the prompts.

Swap Cards Received from 2019 Onstage Live Auckland

Welcome back to my blog.

It will probably take me a little time to share everything I have from Onstage. I thought I would share some of the swaps which used retiring stamp sets first up as they will only be available until the end of May. These products are available until then from my online shop (if you live in Australia) or contact me.

TreeRingsStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

This stunning swap was created by Melissa Gifford from Perth, Australia. I love the vibrant colours she has used. She has coloured the heart diecut stamped with the Tree Rings stamp. This stamp is retiring from the current Annual Catalogue. I also like the way she has used the Subtle Dynamic embossing folder.

TastyTreatsStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

This cute treat bag was created by Tash Martin. She has used the stamps, dies, DSP and ribbon from the Sweetest Things Suite in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. These items will not carry over to the new catalogue.

InEverySeasonCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Yvonne Pettitt created this pretty card using the In Every Season Stamp Set which is in the current Annual Catalogue but will not be carried over. She has also used the Gingham DSP, the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder and the Pearlised Doily, all of which I love.

FloralFramesCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

This beautiful card was created by Australian, Jenny Haydock using the Floral Frames Stamp set and Dies from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I love these dies, especially with the gold, silver and copper foil. And that Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder Again. It is subtle, but it adds a sophisticated, finished look to a card layer.

FairyCelebrationCarStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

This amazing swap was created by Lyn Verity. Sher has used the Sweet Storybook Stamps and Dies and the Fairy Celebration stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue and the Piece of Cake Stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue. Would you believe that all three are retiring at the end of May.

Lyn has gone all out with this card, using heat embossing, Shimmery Card, Wink of Stella and Frost White Shimmer Paint as well as sponging and masking. A really lovely card.

HappinessBloomsCardBagStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Helen S created this gorgeous carry bag, sized perfectly to hold a few cards as a gift. Helen has used the Happiness Blooms Stamp Set and DSP which is in the Occasions Catalogue. She provided printed instructions for making the bag.

PetalPassionCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan20042019

Nicole Clare from Melbourne created this charming card using the Petal Passion Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue which will not be available in the new catalogue. However the Crackle Paint Stamp from the Occasions Catalogue, used here with gold heat embossing, will appear in the new catalogue.

I Hope you have enjoyed seeing these swaps as much as I have.

Sneak Peeks – Onstage Giveaways

Hi stampers, I wanted to share some more of my booty from Onstage.

Onstage2019StampinUpAnnetteMcMillan21042019

This Designer Paper will be in the new catalogue and was an all attendee giveaway at onstage. Initially, I only liked the one sheet, the one with mint macaroon and garden green leaves in it, but having looked more closely, I now love it. There are hummingbirds and roses which can be cut from the paper as well as geometric shapes and the ‘grout’ between the tiles is embossed.

The stamp set is also new and a door prize win. I can see it being handy for cards for those unusual and difficult occasions.

Hope you like them, can’t wait to start creating.

Thanks for stopping by………….till next time,

2019 Onstage Live Auckland

2019OnstageStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan18042019

Well, welcome back. It’s taken me nearly a week to get to posting some of the info about Onstage. It was amazing, mainly because of the incredible welcome by the Kiwi demonstrators.

This is the bag we received on arrival and most of the contents. I think I misplaced a couple of pens!

I will gradually share pics of all aspects of the gathering, so come back soon to see what I’ve added. I will show you the giveaways, the swaps, the new catalogue (cover only at this stage), the make n takes, the boards and more.

thanks for stopping by……till next time,
