Welcome Back, sorry I’ve been MIA

Where have I been you ask?  No where is the answer.  I have just been distracted by the myriad of things that make up everyday family life!

However, I had to get back into action to let you know that the sales period for the 2019-20 Annual Catalogue has begun.  I have put a link in the sidebar of my blog so that you can download a copy.  Of course, I also have hard copies available.  Just contact me if you would like to get one.

I also still have some photos of swaps from Onstage to share.   I couldn’t believe how great the swaps were or the hospitality of the NZ demonstrators.

This swap was created by one of my sideline friends in Canberra, Frances Searle. We traveled to Auckland together and shared a room.

The Best Catch stamp set and coordinating die set, Catch of the Day are still available in this year’s catalogue.

Frances used brushos for the colour and a window sheet stencil for the background. She stamped the fish onto Copper Foil using black Stazon. Isn’t it gorgeous?

The Tropical Chic Stamp Set and Tropical Dies were also popular choices for swaps. They are also carrying over in the new Annual Catalogue. As you can see, they are a very versatile set.

This little punch art Kiwi card is so cute. It was created by Bronwyn Franklin. She has worked wonders with the scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

Queenslander Carolyn Willis created this sweet treat packaging. The belly band wraps around an acetate pillow box filled with yummy tropical treats.

Australian demonstrator Anna Wheaton created a truly stylish card combining black and Lovely Lipstick with Silver Foil, Sparkle Glimmer, vellum and rhinestones.

Australian Heather Massese used Press N Seal to create a gorgeous Floating Frame card. She has created a lovely outer frame by dry embossing a pair of the Stitched Rectangle Framelit Dies.

This lovely treat package had a label, but no name. It was created with the Envelope Punch Board and used greetings from the Butterfly Gala Stamp set.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed seeing these lovely creations. Remember that you can purchase the products any time from my on-line store, using the link in the Shopping drop-down tab at the top of this page. I promise I won’t wait so long this time.

Thanks for dropping by…………………………..til next time,

Swap Card 4 – Best Catch Card

My final Onstage Live Card was designed as a male card for birthday or Father’s Day. I do realise that there are many female fishers out there but I often find it difficult to create men’s cards. I should have returned from Auckland and caught up with day-to-day jobs by now so I’ll share something live soon, promise!

I had a lot of fun making this card. I googled rainbow trout to make sure I had vaguely authentic colours and I think I succeeded. I love the way the dies cut the fish’s fins so that they can be popped up. You probably can’t see in the photo, but I added wink of stella to the fins to give them a little sparkle.
