My third swap card for Onstage Live would be lovely as a Mothers Day Card or Get Well Card and would please anyone lucky enough to receive it. Apart from the black, green and yellow colours, all the others are shades of Rich Razzleberry. The small flowers were stamped several times without reinking the stamp which gives a lovely effect, I think.
The large flower has been stamped cut out and raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals. You can see the sparkle from the Shimmer Card in the close-up. Shimmer Card is also good for watercolouring, as it doesn’t pill.

Last weekend I held a card day to introduce local members of a group called The Compassionate Friends (TCF) to papercrafting with Stampin’ Up! There were 4 ladies who were new to card making and to Stampin’ Up! as well as a couple of seasoned cardmakers.
TCF is a worldwide family of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents offering support and friendship to each other. It began in the UK in 1969 and the ACT and Queanbeyan chapter has been operating since 1991. Its symbol is a butterfly.

I created 2 cards for the class. The first used the Butterfly Gala Bundle, which I thought was very appropriate for the group. The second was a floral birthday card, using the Beautiful Day stamp set, which I thought would have wide appeal.
Below is a photo of the cards made on the day. It was very interesting that, although everyone had the same pieces of cardstock, ink and stamps, there were many variations of the original cards. The ladies enjoyed the day and I will hold more days in the future.
