Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring our favourite bundles from current SU Catalogues. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Sue Boerner’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Make sure you hop all the way around until you get back to me so that you see all the wonderful projects.
I chose to use the Dainty Delight Bundle as I love it so much. I paired it with the Hues of Happiness DSP because I thought the colour and style would be a good match and I recreated a fun fold card we created at my last downline meeting. One member (hi Frances!) cased a card by Iced Images on Youtube here.
Below are pics showing the back panels, where you can write a message and a view from the top which gives you an idea of the shape of the card.

The card I am sharing is one I created for my downline team get together this month. I wanted to show them how to use an old (but good) technique called Iris folding and make a card with this technique and Stampin’ Up! products.

The theme made me think of a friend who has lost a loved one whose memory is associated with pelicans. So, using the pelican from the Waves of the Ocean Stamp Set was an easy decision to make. The card evolved from there.

I love the images in the In the Moment stamp set. I think they all have a definite pensive mood, and so, are a good choice for this type of card.

It was not hard to pick the supplies I would choose to create my card. I adore the Hand Penned DSP. It has a lovely soft watercoloured, almost whimsical look to it, soft pastel colours and flowers which are delicate, small in size. i will be so sad when it has retired with the current Annual Catalogue, as will the Dies and Embossing Folder I used.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: – Color and Contours, Peaceful Moments
Inks: – Memento Black, Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaroon
Card: – Basic White, Misty Moonlight, Hand Penned DSP
Tools: – Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Flowers and Leaves Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
Embellishments: – Stampin Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue
