Paper Crafting Blog Hop June 2021 – Happy Birthday

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Happy Birthday.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Sue Boerner’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

I decided to use the pretty Pansy Petals DSP because I wanted to create a pretty birthday card and I also wanted to use one or more of the 2021-23 In Colors which are featured in this paper. As I don’t yet have the Pansy Patch stamp set/dies bundle I decided to cut out one of the floral images in the paper to use for the focal image. I was really happy with how this turned out.

I decorated the inside with more of the DSP and another fussy cut flower. I gave both flowers a good hit of Wink of Stella, so they are very shimmery in real life, but couldn’t capture this in the pics.

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop, featuring the theme Thinking of You Girls. I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

I decided to use the Quite Curvy Bundle with the Dragonfly stamp from the Suite Sampler Hostess Stamp Set. Both are in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. I just love this bundle and I’ve become a bit obsessed by the Blends/Isopropanol Background technique with Vellum. I think the combination work well for a Thinking of You card, although these colours would suit a girl or a bloke.

SUPPLIES:

  • Stamps: Quite Curvy, Suite Sampler
  • Ink : – Night of Navy Blend, Daffodil Delight Blend, Versamark inkpad
  • Card: – Basic White (thin), Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Vellum.
  • Tools: – Curvy Dies, Scissors
  • Embellishments: – Silver Embossing Powder

I hope you like my card.  Thanks for joining us for our Blog Hop.

I decided to use the Oh So Ombre DSP in my project because I just love it. (And its FREE during this promotion.) I thought the Merry Merlot would go well with the Rococo Rose and I think it does.

The stamp set is a hostess set and I hadn’t used it yet so thought I’d put some ink on that rubber. Unfortunately, there is no die to match this floral image but it wasn’t too difficult to fussy cut. I think the Gilded leafing and the gold ribbon really set it off, although they are much prettier in life.

Paper crafting blog hop- Darling Donkeys SALE-A-BRATION Stamp SeT

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring new products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and the 2021 Sale-A-Bration products.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

I wanted to use the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set. I also wanted to use the new Blending Brushes. I decided to use sunset type colours and convert the images to silhouettes by colouring them in black. The fact that one donkey had a rose gave me the idea of Valentines Day, so I hand drew the hearts and the ground and grass. Then I went looking for a suitable greeting. I found It in the Geared Up Garage Set. In Australia, many people don’t celebrate Valentines Day and, if they do, its only by couples. My hubbie and I don’t do mushy Valentines but we do mark the occasion, so I felt that this card was perfect. What do you think?
