Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop – Rustic Style
Welcome to this month’s Blog Hop by Let’s Craft Together and thank you for joining us. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting.
Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month’s challenge is Rustic Style Challenge which was created by Mandy Witherby and is shown below:
I decided to use something metallic, earthy and pretty. This led me to selecting the Planted Paradise Stamp Set and a technique called Faux Patina, to achieve a weathered look.
Supplies
Stamps: – Planted Paradise, Simply Said
Inks: – Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, Pebbled Path, Versamark, Copper Clay, Pretty Peacock and Gorgeous Grape,
Card: – Copper Clay, Basic White, Pretty Peacock, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink
Tools: – Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Painted Lavender Dies
Embellishments: Gold Embossing Powder
