Paper Crafting Blog Hop – January 2024 – Sale-A-bration

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Sale-A-Bration.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Terri Stewart’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

I chose to use the Cradled In Love stamp set, which is available as a free gift when you spend $90AUS during the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) promotion. As the cradle has a vintage look, I used Very Vanilla Card, the rustic Wild Wheat colour, and the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (also a free item available during SAB).

Stamps: – Cradled In Love Stamp Set,

Inks: –  Tuxedo Memento Black, Wild Wheat, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Smoky Slate

Card: – Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Softly Stippled DSP

Tools: – Color & Contour Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies

Embellishments: Festive Pearls, Wild Wheat Textured Ribbon

I hope you are inspired by my card. I’d love to know what you think.

Thanks for hopping by.

Till next time,

Netty xx

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – December 2023 – Thank You

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Thank You.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

During October, Stampin’ Up! ran a free event for World Card Making Day (WCMD) which I participated in. The cards made used the Earthen Textures Bundle. I have this bundle, but like many, have mainly used it with the earthy colours in the coordinating Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. The WCMD event, though, used some very bright colours and I loved them. So here is one card I made during the event which I cased for this hop.

EarthenTexturesCardStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan25102023

I chose to use products from the Online Exclusives Collection, specifically the Hello Irresistible Suite, because I haven’t mentioned these products here as yet. Although it looks like a complicated card, the only stamping I did was the greeting- The floral images were die cut from the DSP.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop – June 2023 – Happy Birthday

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Happy Birthday.

I chose to use the beautiful Balloons Bundle because it fits the bill for the birthday theme perfectly, but also because I love the colours in the DSP, especially Lemon-Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushell, which have all returned after retirement for a new lease on life.

SUPPLIES

Bundle: –Beautiful Balloons

Inks: –  Blueberry Bushell, Berry Burst

Card: – Blueberry Bushell, Lemon-Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Whisper White

Paper: Bright & Beautiful DSP

Tools: – Stylish Shapes Dies, 2 3/4 ” circle punch, Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder

Embellishments: Bakers twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals

BeautifulBalloonsCard1ClosedStampinUpAnnetteMcMillan30052023

I also love the die in the bundle that creates the gorgeous fringe that I have used on the DSP strip on the RHS of the card.

This card has an element of a fancy fold as the card front has been trimmed short in width to accommodate the strip of “fringed” DSP adhered to the inside of the card back. So bright and fun-filled, anyone would love to receive this card.

Below is a close up view of the focal point.

I really love the clean bright colours and images in this suite, so perfect for birthday cards for anyone special in your life.

I hope you are inspired by my card. I’d love to know what you think.
