Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Happy Birthday. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Sue Boerner’s blog. Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!
I decided to use the pretty Pansy Petals DSP because I wanted to create a pretty birthday card and I also wanted to use one or more of the 2021-23 In Colors which are featured in this paper. As I don’t yet have the Pansy Patch stamp set/dies bundle I decided to cut out one of the floral images in the paper to use for the focal image. I was really happy with how this turned out.

I decorated the inside with more of the DSP and another fussy cut flower. I gave both flowers a good hit of Wink of Stella, so they are very shimmery in real life, but couldn’t capture this in the pics.

SUPPLIES:
- Stamps: – Peaceful Moments
- Inks: – Memento Black, Wink of Stella, Black Marker
- Card: – Calypso Coral, Basic White, Pansy Petal DSP
- Tools: – Paper Snips, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, Stitched Rectangles Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
- Embellishments: – 2021-23 In-Color Jewels (Pale Papaya), linen thread
I hope you like my card. I’d love to know what you think! Thanks for joining us for our Blog Hop.

Lovely card. Love this stamp set.
Beautiful card! I love that we can cut out images from the DSP to create card elements. And thank you for showing that sentiment that fits into that small label! I love that shape and have a hard time finding words that fit in it!
thanks Julia, I was really happy with both aspects of this card you mention.
