Paper Crafting Blog Hop- Happy Birthday To You

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring a Happy Birthday theme.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from Anastasia Radloff’s fabulous blog.  Either way, you’re in the right place.

I was inspired to create my card when I saw this card by Artisan design Team Member, Stesha Bloodhart. I just loved the white splattered look, with the vellum and sparkles, so I set about making it my own, using different colours and introducing a different fold – a Corner Tuck Fold card. I also used the beautiful Champagne Rhinestones which look lovely with the Petal Pink.

A closer look.

February Paper Crafting Blog Hop- Power of Hope

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring Sale-A-Bration products.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of inspiration from them. You may have started here or arrived from Krissi Hannah’s fabulous blog.  Either way, you’re in the right place.

I was inspired by a trifold card on Sharon Burkert’s blog here.  I loved Sharon’s project and, like her, I am fond of Black and White and a touch of red. However, I couldn’t just copy her card for this hop, so I used the design but different elements.

I started with the Bermuda Bay Card Base and then added the Lovely Lily Impressions DSP. Then I had to choose between using the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and the matching Dies, and the Power of Hope Bundle. I chose the latter, then I realised that I had used Bermuda Bay and the Stone 3D Embossing Folder last Hop. Oh well, I did say that I love both!

After I had put the stone texture on the top flap, I swiped that panel with a Whisper White Inkpad to bring the panel to life. I then paper-pieced the kimono with a slightly different pattern of the DSP. From there, I just kept adding elements like the twine and sequins.

Theses pics show how the circle panel sits inside the circular “hole” in the top flap.

And finally, I added the greeting panel with a strip of DSP, sequins and a little lantern.  Can you see how I made a fringe on the lantern with the twine?

Paper Crafting Blog Hop -Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator’s Blog Hop featuring Gift Packaging projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide range of fun projects to share with you. You may have arrived from Katie Johnson’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I wanted to use the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, even though we don’t have frosty or snowy Christmases in Australia, because I just love this paper. I decided to use the silver-foiled side and I wanted to make a treat sized gift package. This is small enough to hang on the Christmas tree but will hold a good number of treats or small gifts, or even cash.

I found a design I liked on Youtube by Crafty Caroline. Here is the link.

I punched a hole through the top tabs and threaded some of the stunning Seaside Spray Ribbon through. I added a simple tag and some some Rhinestones.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper

PaperCraftingBlogHopBadge

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator’s Blog Hop featuring CHRISTMAS projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide range of fun projects to share with you. You may have arrived from Terri Stewart’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I wanted to use the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper but I haven’t purchased the coordinating Christmas Gleaming stamp set and Gleaming Ornament punch pack. I decided to use the Merry Christmas to All stamp set. This set was carried over from 2018-19 Holiday Catalogue to the current Annual Catalogue. It has coordinating Dies and good sized sentiments.

I really liked the card at the top of p31 of the Holiday Catalogue. So I kinda cased that card using what I had on hand and I like what I came up with.
