Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Happy Birthday.  I am excited to share another project with you today.  Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Tracy Held’s blog.  Wasn’t her project amazing? Either way, you’re in the right place!

I wanted to make a card for a friend who had a birthday this week and I know she likes bright colours. I started with the DSP. Then I decided to create a Pinwheel Tower card. One of my team led us in making these last month. I had the idea of doing the silhouette look because the DSP is bright on one side but black and white on the other. The rest of the supplies and styling just evolved as I went.

  • Stamps: – Flowers of Friendship, Many Messages (greetings)
  • Inks: –  Memento Black, Melon Mambo & Black Markers (flower centres)
  • Card: – Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo, Pale Papaya, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP
  • Tools: –  Flowers and Leaves punch, Messages Die, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Bone Folder
  • Embellishments: – Basic Rhinestones, 2021-23 In Color Jewels, Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon

I hope you are inspired by my card.  I’d love to know what you think! Thanks for joining us for our Blog Hop.
