Welcome to this month’s Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring the theme Thinking of You Guys. I am excited to share another project with you today. Fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe are participating, so we have lots of fun projects to share with you. I hope you get loads of creative inspiration from them. You may have started here, or arrived from the talented Maureen Rauchfuss’s blog. Either way, you’re in the right place!

When deciding what I would create for this blog hop, I started thinking about what makes a card masculine. I decided that it was the colours used, texture and metallics. Often, thinking of you cards are for a sad occasion, and flowers or butterflies come to mind, but not for a male. So, I was thinking, Lovely As A Tree stamp set….Oh no, it’s retired. So I was wondering what I had that was similar and I thought of the Winter Woods stamp set. I’ve seen lots of lovely Christmas cards made with these “wintery trees”. My thoughts then went to neutral colours, texture and metallics, and this card was born.
I hope my card inspires you. I have listed all supplies below. Please add a comment and let me know what you liked about it before clicking the next image to hop to Shirley Merker’s blog in the United States to see what fun ideas she has to share.
