Dandelion Wishes Meets Brushos

I made this card at a recent Avid Inkers get together.  We had lots of fun making cards using three techniques that are a little messy! I love messy!  This one was made by white embossing the stamped image onto Shimmer White Card, then spritzing and adding Brusho crystals. These  particular Brusho colours are not available through Stampin’ Up! and include a little gold.  When it was dry, I stamped the greeting from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set in Black, matted it on a black panel, added the ribbon and rhinestones and placed on a White Card Base. I hope you like it as much as I do.  Thanks Carolyn for the supplies and inspiration.

The pic below gives a better view of the shimmer.  It is gorgeous in person! I’d love to hear what you think.  You can leave a comment by clicking on the comment field above the pic.  You can also follow my blog by clicking on the feed symbol in the grey menu bar at the bottom of this screen.  Then, you will always know if I have added a post.

Another card I CASED (read as Shamelessly copied) from Connie Collins’s blog (see her card here).  The colours are Smokey Slate, Whisper White and Basic Black.  I hope that the THREE posts today make up for my lack of posts in the last few weeks.  Hope to be back very soon. The Blended Seasons bundle is only available until 31 August.

Last Chance to Purchase the Blended Seasons Stamp set and Stitched Seasons Framelits

I shamelessly copied this card from the super talented Mary Brown (see her post here).  I  wanted to use this stamp set and framelits and I was also itching to use the embossing folder and the new colours and watercolour pencils.  This card met the bill to do it all.  I copied the colours from Mary; Soft Seafoam, Blushing Bride and Gold Foil. I was very happy with the result.  What do you think?
