I’m getting excited now. On Stage is on in Sydney tomorrow at Luna Park. My bag is packed and I’m ready to go! An early start at 7.30! I thought I would share my other swaps with you. Both use stamp sets which are in the current Occasions Catalogue, so are available until the end of May.
I thought this card was a little different than most I have seen using this lovely set. I quite like the bolder colours which, I think, give the card an Asian feel, and makes it appropriate for many occasions, such as Anniversary, Mother’s Day or Thank You. This is quite a simple card to make and would be a good make n take for a workshop. I used Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black as well as as Black and White Baker’s Twine. I hope you like it. If you have any comments or questions, I’d love to hear from you.
My final swap card is using a stamp set called Waterfront. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiment set in the Annual Catalogue. I have also used the Seaside Textured Embossing Folder and the Stitched Shapes Framelits . Colours are Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Whisper White Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist.
The waterfront set is amazing. It is like building a scene using the stamps in different ways. You will find lots of different cards out in cyberspace using this versatile set. I thought the scene perfectly represented the free days of retirement. It could also be used as a Bon Voyage card.
Again, this is a simple card and I hope you like it.
